TOUGE DASH · DATA
Privacy Policy
Touge Dash can operate entirely on your device. An account and online sync are optional. This policy distinguishes between data stored locally and data sent to Touge Dash Cloud.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
1. Data controller
Touge Dash is operated by TrueCode Sp. z o.o., ul. Spacerowa 9, 74-400 Dębno, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 5971762560, company register (KRS) 0001162786. For privacy matters, contact [email protected].
2. Local mode
Without signing in, the app stores drive history, engine parameters, settings, the identifier of the last Bluetooth interface and — when enabled by the user — precise GPS location on the mobile device. Optional videos recorded with the phone, sound recorded with those videos, videos selected from Photos and recordings downloaded directly from a supported dash camera also remain on the device. Touge Dash does not upload video or audio files to Touge Dash Cloud, and its private media directory is excluded from device backups. Exporting a video creates a copy in Photos only after the user requests it. Removing the app deletes its local database and private media files in accordance with the operating system's behaviour.
When the user chooses dash-camera import, Touge Dash uses the local network only to connect directly to the selected camera and download the recordings chosen by the user. The app does not scan unrelated local-network devices and does not send those recordings to TrueCode.
3. Data processed online
After you create an account or sign in, we may process:
- profile name, email address, password hash or the identifier of the selected sign-in provider;
- a profile photo uploaded through the web panel;
- vehicle names and identifiers of their linked Bluetooth interfaces;
- telemetry samples, drive times, speed, RPM, temperatures, pressures and other parameters recorded by the app;
- precise location and route data only when GPS recording is enabled;
- vehicle invitations, access roles, notifications and sharing links;
- basic connection data such as IP address, request time and server errors required to secure and maintain the service.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- account operation, sync, history, export and sharing — performance of the service requested by the user;
- GPS — consent given by enabling route recording; consent can be withdrawn in the app or the device settings;
- security, abuse prevention and diagnostics — the controller's legitimate interest.
Touge Dash does not use data for advertising, advertising profiles or tracking across third-party services.
5. Recipients and sharing
Data is processed by infrastructure and hosting providers acting on TrueCode's behalf. When social sign-in is used, the selected provider — Apple or Google — processes data under its own policies. Invited users can view the selected vehicle, and anyone with an active public link created by the owner can view the linked drive. We do not sell data or disclose it to data brokers.
6. Retention and deletion
Account and synced vehicle data is retained until the account is deleted. In the web panel, open Profile → Delete account; the mobile app also provides its account deletion option. Deletion is scheduled one hour after identity verification. Signing in during that hour allows the user to cancel it. The operation removes the account, vehicles, drives, locations, sharing records and server sessions. Local history remains on the mobile device until the app is removed. Temporary links expire after the selected period and their owner can revoke them earlier. Necessary technical backups may be deleted during the normal backup cycle unless the law requires specific information to be retained longer.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Contact [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.
8. Security and changes
Cloud connections use HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored only as secure hashes and app sign-in tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain or Android encrypted storage. We may update this policy when features or laws change; the current update date will always be shown on this page.
